Jeff, Dylan & I went to my Mom's house, Mamma G's, for a Memorial Day cookout. It was a beautiful day even though it was a bit warm. Dylan had a blast playing all sorts of games. The picture above is Dylan & Uncle Dusty playing baseball. For some reason, Dylan didn't want to bat. He wanted to pitch to Uncle Dusty the whole time. First I must say that Dylan actually has great aim and can pitch pretty well for a 2 year old. Second, Uncle Dusty is pretty good at hitting some stray pitches, haha. Together they had a blast playing baseball. Daddy jumped in and took at some pitches from Dylan too. I was in the wonderful shade of the big tree, taking pictures of the boys playing baseball. Dylan also brought his soccer ball along with us & Uncle Dusty played a little soccer with him too.
Dylan watched Kelly & Kelsey throwing the blue tennis ball back and forth and catching it with the velcro paddles. He was immediately intrigued and wanted to try it to. So Kelsey threw him some pitches and he caught them. Getting the ball off of the sticky velcro was much more of a task, lol.
Overall, it was a great Memorial Day at Mamma G's house & Dylan had a blast playing with everyone!
