Dylan & The Big Bike

Dylan sitting on Daddy's Ninja & checking out the big bike.
As I was moving videos over to the computer today, I noticed this video.  It was in January.  I'd thought I'd share.  He looks pretty small on that bike, lol!

Jumping Bean

Translation: "I'm a jumping bean"

Dylan's newest phase is jumping. Not just jumping though... he has been a jumper for almost a whole year now, ha ha. I'm talking about a "jumping bean" that literally never stops bouncing! Jump, jump, jump.... "That's a lot of jumping"

A cute picture for February...

Dylan & Ozzie

Last Friday, Dylan & I drove to Lancaster to visit one of my old roommates, Nicole.  Dylan loves hanging out with Nicole and they have become quite good buddies.  However, Dylan has never been to Nicole's house.  She always comes up to our house to visit Dylan.  She recently had back surgery and we decided to go to her house for a change and pay her a visit.  When we got there, Dylan got to meet her Boxer, Ozzie.  Ozzie is the biggest baby & is as sweet as they come.  I was curious to see how Dylan & Ozzie would react/interact with each other.

They loved each other.  I was impressed by both Dylan & Ozzie.  Dylan was not scared of the dog who is just as tall as him.  And Ozzie seemed to understand that Dylan was a little person and was so sweet & gentle around him.  The two of them played as if they were two toddlers.  Dylan entertained Ozzie with his ball.  Dylan loved it when Ozzie would "chase" him.  Although as I already mentioned, Ozzie seemed to completely understand limits of playing with a toddler.  Then the two of them took turns pushing matchbox cars & Tonka trucks around.  It was adorable!  I know that Dylan had a blast that day because the entire (hour plus) ride home, he talked excitedly about playing with "Puppy Ozzie & Nicole." Nicole told me that she never saw her dog quite as tired as he was that day after Dylan left, ha ha ha.  We'll definitely have to do it again soon!

Dylan's 1st Mac

Jeff has an old laptop that serves of no real use to him anymore. Therefore, he is letting Dylan use it as his very own little computer. He can't really do anything on it, obviously. He does, however, LOVE to type in the text edit program. He calls out the letters as he pushes them & when they appear on the screen. He quickly picked up the purpose of the delete key, or as he calls it "Start over."

He even blew me away one day with something I didn't know that he knew. The first day we got out his laptop for him to mess around with, he pointed to the question mark and told me that it was "Question." I was surprised because I didn't know that he knew that. He has been doing that to me quite a lot lately. He has recently been telling me what specific letters in the alphabet say. For example, "Letter R says rrrrr." He's so cute!

Big Snow Day 2010

Last Friday, the snow started falling.  The weather people had warned us from anywhere between 9-18 inches of snow for the area that we live.  Our home towns were calling for A LOT more than that!  From Friday into pretty much all afternoon on Saturday, the snow continued to fall.  Dylan, Jeff & I went out a couple times on Saturday to play in the snow.  When you get large amounts of snow like we did, you can't help but want to go outside and play in it... 20-something or not.  There is more snow on the way this week to pile on top of the tons we already have.  I'm guessing the snow might be on the ground for quite some time.  Here are a few pictures & a video too of all of us playing outside.

Dylan, of course, had to help shovel snow.  Anything an adult does, he immediately would like to at least try.  It's quite comical to watch.  Although, shoveling is no easy task when you have roughly 15 inches of snow and some areas (i.e. our patio) where the snow drifted piling up to a couple feet.

This is the big kid in the snow.
He just jumped into it like he was jumping on a bed, lol.

On his way home from work on Friday, Daddy stopped and bought Dylan his own sled so we didn't have to borrow the neighbors again, lol.  Needless to say, Dylan enjoyed quite a few trips down the hill on his new sled.
