Visiting Princess Kiersten

After we had a picnic lunch at Buchanan's birth place & ran some errands, Dylan & I drove to Nicole's house to visit her and Princess Kiersten.  First of all, that munchkin has more than mastered the art of walking.  I even saw her attempt running while we were there, lol.  Dylan loves Kiersten.  They were playing like crazy.  Dylan loved that Kiersten would follow him around.  Also, every time Kiersten laughed at Dylan, he would get a big kick out of it and try to get her to laugh some more.  I never saw him interact quite like that with a kiddo smaller than him.  It was absolutely adorable.  He had a blast playing with her & threw a mini-tantrum when it was time to go.  Luckily, Dylan will get to see Kiersten again soon because her birthday is right around the corner.  Princess is going to be turn ONE!  Where or where has the past year gone??

James Buchanan's Birth Place

Dylan & I had to take a little road trip to Mercersburg one day for some "work" related things.  While we were in the area, we decided to go to Buchanan's birth place for a nice picnic lunch by the creek.  Dylan quite enjoys being in the mountains, especially if there is some for of water nearby... creeks, ponds, lakes, etc.  It was a nice little stop for a random day.

Mamma G's House

I found some pictures from April when Dylan & I visited Mamma G for a Friday afternoon visit.  I totally forgot about these pictures on my camera (not Jeff's) and just copied them over today.  So I thought I would share a couple.  The picture above is of Mamma G & Dylan playing  with a bubble gun.  The picture below is Dylan holding a very baby kitten at Grandma's house.  He loved the kitty and kept wanting to go check on it and hold it some more.  I was thoroughly impressed at how gentle he was with the tiny thing, lol.

Pappy, Grandma & Ducks, oh my!

First of all, I apologize on the slacking of this blog.  We all have been pretty busy lately and I haven't had as much time as I normally do to post fun pictures & stories of Dylan's adventures.  So I would like to share a few pictures from a few weeks ago.  First of all, Dylan & I went to visit Pappy & Grandma Faith.  During our visit, Aunt Blake was getting ready for this year's prom.  So we decided to tag along, take some pictures, see some ducks & grab a bite to eat.  Dylan had a blast hanging out & playing.  He LOVED the ducks.  He also squeezed in some good play time with Pappy by building "bridges" and playing with cars. He couldn't stop talking about it the entire hour drive home... no exaggeration.  So here are a few pictures...

Dylan & Pappy checking out the ducks.

Dylan also got to meet Uncle Cameron's new puppy.  She is sooo cute!  Dylan kept telling me about her sticking her tongue out at him & giving me a demonstration of how it looked, lol.

A picture of Aunt Blake & Grandma Faith in Greencastle.  We stopped by here to take a few pictures of Aunt Blake all dressed up for prom & like I mentioned earlier, Dylan got to check out the ducks.

The really cute baby ducks that Dylan loved so much.

Kadee & Kaylee's Birthday Party

Happy 3rd Birthday Kadee & Kaylee!!!

Dylan & Kadee enjoying some cake and ice cream.  Dylan was super excited that there was cake, lol.  He ate every single bite too.

Here is a picture of birthday girl number two, Kaylee.

And of course, an adorable Kiersten smiling as always.  She was entertaining herself with her sister's birthday presents.
